Katia Carnevale and Cecily Stabler each netted two goals while Anna DiSibio, Emily Paytas and Julia Szynal had one goal apiece for Summit, which outscored its opponent, 8-0, in the first half. Maddie Collins recorded four saves, Amy Martino had two saves and Anna Huntley-Robertson added one assist

Lost 7-3 The two teams had traded goals for most of the first half, setting up another classic between the two programs that needed double overtime to decide a winner in last year's Tournament of Champions final. Summit won that game, 11-10.

Ridgewood broke a 3-3 tie with two minutes left in the first half, and Ridgewood extended the lead to 5-3 at the half. Summit's goals were scorred, Katia Carnevale, Emily Paytas and Anna Turk.

Anna DiSibio scored Summit's only goal of the 2nd Half. Maddie Collins had 10 saves in goal.

Monday, Apr 3 4:00PM  Away Mendham Won 16-6 Katia Carnevale led nine scorers with a game-high four goals to lead Summit past Mendham, 16-6, in Mendham.

Anna Griffith added three more goals while Cecily Stabler and Julia Szynal chipped in with two apiece for Summit, which led 10-4 at the half.

Goalies Maddie Collins and Amy Martino combined to make three saves as well.

    Cecily Stabler, Anna DiSibio and Emily Paytas each scored two goals. Shannon Groskoph also scored for Summit.. Szynal also had with two assists as Maddie Collins and Amy Martino combined to make three saves.

    Goals from Cecily Stabler (two), and Helen Johnson (one) was a huge part of Summit defeating a tough Oak Knoll team on the road.

    Wednesday, Apr 19 4:00PM  Home Glen Ridge Won 12-8 For the opening 10 minutes of Wednesday's game, Summit would take a lead and the Ridgers would be able to almost immediately respond, making sure the Hilltoppers never got too comfortable with its lead.

    Summit ultimately found its groove and started to take advantage on draws, leading to a five unanswered goals during a 7-1 run between the two halves to secure a 12-8 victory over Glen Ridge. Maddie Colllins made 7 saves

    Won 16-7 Anna Huntley-Robertson scored three goals and added a game-high three assists. Julia Szynal found the back of the net twice and picked up two ground balls. Katia Carnevale led all scorers with four goals.

    The Hilltoppers played fast the entire contest, opening the match with two goals in just over a minute. Anna Turk recorded two goals and an assist and Cecily Stabler added two goals. Maddie Collins had 7 saves and Amy Martino one save.

     Saturday, May 6 5:30PM  Away UCT Finals vs. Oak Knoll
    Lost 10-9 (OT) Oak Knoll came out firing, scoring the first three goals in the opening nine-plus minutes while holding Summit to limited offensive chances. The Hilltoppers got on the board thanks to Julia Szynal's eight-meter goal with 11:44 left in the first half but the Royals responded two minutes later with her second goal of the night to give Oak Knoll a three-goal advantage at the half.

    The lead was a welcome sight for Oak Knoll but one that would not hold through the second half. Oak Knoll opened the 2nd half with a 4-2 spurt that gave them a five-goal advantage with just over 12 minutes left.

    It was then that the Hilltoppers found another gear as Johnson spearheaded a 6-1 run with the first two goals of the stretch. 

    Summit scored the final four goals in regulation, spanning 4:20 minutes, with Anna Griffith capping off the run with an eight-meter goal with 7.3 seconds left. 

    Oak Knoll won the overtime faceoff and scored to win the championship.

    Sectional Semifinal

    vs. Roxbury

    Won 14-3 Katia Carnevale tallied a game-high five goals and Anna Huntley-Robertson added three scores to lead top-seeded Summit to a 14-3 victory over fifth-seeded Roxbury in the Sectional semifinals.

    Julia Szynal had two goals with four assists and Anna DiSibio, Aca Spotts, Shannon Groskoph, and Kelsey Space each posted a goal apiece for Summit, Maddie Collins had four saves in the win.

    Summit will host neighbor second-seeded Chatham in Thursday's final.
