There are many Hilltoppers who are angry about the new schedule.

Summit has no past connection with the added teams. All of them result in excessive travel time for the team and fans.

Five of our 8 games are now be Group 4 schools and two are Non-Publc schools that are allowed to recruit players. We are a Public Group 3 school and only one school on our schedule is Public Group 3

The realigning of conferences every 2 years is counter productive. In football, basketball and baseball if a team has a couple of good seasons they are punnished by a schedule realignment that resuts in the playing tougher teams for 2 years. Often they are assigned a tougher schedule just when the key players graduate and the team is rebuilding.

Conferences really mean nothing, they change every two years and there is little opportunity to build up traditions and rivilries.
