For three quarters this was game was great. The defense was good and the
shots were dropping. We started the final quarter up by nine. Then for the
first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter nothing good happened, while Boonton ran off
18 points (to take a hine point lead) Summit was scoreless. There was no way
to recover. We scored 10 points in the last two minutes, but Boonton poured in
just as many. Boonton scored 30 points in the final 8 minutes. Eighteen of
those points were from the foul line (out of 23 free throws attempted). It was
an ugly 8 minutes. Bob Adams had a season high 17 points and Chas Carey
matched his quality season average 15.
