This was a wire to wire heart attack. The Hilltoppers were in it until the last
10 second when HP hit two free throws to put it out to reach. With 26 second
remaining and Summit down 2 Matt von Klemperer put a three that was in,
out, hanging on the rim and then finally fell out. Two fouls, one intentional
and the other a technical, called on John Brown resulted in four made free
throws and a couple of extra possessions for HP in the 2nd half. Chas Carey
was under heavy pressure each time he got the ball. Double and triple teaming
was the rule. If you weren't there you missed an exciting game played before
the biggest crowd at the High School in years.
