What a difference from the first time these two squads met. Summit turned an
18 point loss into a 15 point win. The Hilltoppers played outstanding defense.
Parsippany Hills had pulled to within 4 points as the 4th quarter began, and
things were getting tense. A three pointer by John Foushee helped the cause. A
deuce by Foushee and a pair of buckets by Carey built the lead to six. Then it
came to foul time for Parsippany Hills. This time we were up to the task. Bob
Adams hit on 8 of his 10 tries in the 4th quarter. The team as a whole scored 12
points on free throws in the final quarter. Chas Carey led Summit with 17
points, but John Foushee and Bob Adams weren't far behind with 16 and 13
respectively. It was a fine win for Summit.
