Roselle got off to a fast start, scoring the first 18 points of the game, ending
the first quarter with a 15 point lead. Their 1st quarter spurt was aided by
nine summit turnovers in that period. In addition, there was a bogus technical
foul called on Chas Carey that gave Roselle two free throw points plus the ball.
In the 2nd quarter Summit found their way as they closed the gap to 5 points.
and raised the hopes of the large contingent of Summit fans. Unfortunately,
after a Roselle time out they rebuilt their lead to 14 at the end of the half. It
was never close after that. John Foushee powered the 2nd quarter surge as he
scored 12 of his game high 18 points (hitting 8 of 9 free throws, all totaled John
hit 12 of 15, a season high for Summit ). Summit was a bit shorthanded as
Brendan Reilly and Matt Paccione were unable to be at the game. A.J.
Warren led the Roselle scoring with 18 points.
