This one was a win almost from the start. Ayesha Burney started out hot,
dumping in 9 points in the 1st quarter. Early in the 3rd quarter she took an ugly
fall and had to be helped off the court. Fifteen minutes later she came back to
the bench heavily taped and on crutches. Just before that bad turn, Missy
Kellog took an elbow in the face and retired to the infirmary. She returned to
the bench but saw no further action. Erin Beaumont wasn't on the bench and
was rumored to be ill, so Summit suddenly found itself shorthanded. Down the
stretch Summit managed to sink 7 of 9 free throws to drive a nail in Dover's
coffin. Ayesha Burney led summit with 11 first half points.
For Dover, Bahnatkai scored 10.
