Take Springfield Avenue to Maple Avenue in New Providence. Turn LEFT on Maple and go 2 miles to the end of Maple. Turn RIGHT on to Mountain Avenue and travel along it to Diamond Hill Road intersection. Turn LEFT on to Diamond Hill Road and go down the hill through 3 lights and over the Rte. 22 overpass (by the Blue Star Shopping Center). This brings you to Park Avenue in Scotch Plains. Continue along Park Avenue through the Business District. Park Avenue changes its name to Martine Avenue; continue along Maritne Avenue for about 3 miles until you see Union Catholic High School on your right. Turn RIGHT into the parking lot. The Gym is behind the school.

Travel on to Lyons Avenue, make a LEFT and a quick RIGHT back on to Clinton Place. Carver School is on the left.

Directions to Branch Brook Park: Take JFK Parkway to Eisenhower to Rte. 280East to the Newark/First Street Exit. Make a LEFT on to First Street. Go 2 lights to Park Avenue; make a RIGHT. Make the 1st LEFT into
the Park entrance. Go to the stop sign and make a LEFT. Go past the baseball fields and a field house until you come to the Park intersection; stay left and you will come to a second field house. This field house is the starting line for Cross Country races.
