Tue 09/12 4 Dover H Dover had to forefit this game due to an ineligble player
Lost 4-3
 The men's home opener vs. Dover couldn't have been more exciting. Unfortunately, Summit came out on the losing end. Dover scored first midway through the 1st half. Summit came out strong in the 2nd half, on a Steve Dionne Goal assisted by Matt Auster. Five min. later, Dionne was awarded a free kick which Ryan Clark headed in to take a 2-1 lead. Dover tied the score when it was awarded penalty kick. Robbie Messner made a great save, but Dover got the rebound and put it in. Summit came right back with a beautiful volley by Ryan Clark which was sent by Dionne. Unfortunately, Dover once again took the offensive and tied the score With 10 sec. left, Dover got a loose ball and volleyed it into the net.
Thu 09/14 4 Mendham H Lost 4-1 Summit started strong when Matt Auster took a pass from Ryan Clark and scored after only 30 seconds of the game. From there, Mendham went on to dominate the scoring with 4 unanswered goals. One of the defensive highlights was a spectacular penalty kick save by Rob Messner early in the second half.
Mon 09/18 4 Morris Hills A Lost 2-1 Morris hills scored first early, however Summit stayed aggressive and Ryan Clark scored on a free kick to tie the game. Steve Dionne and Rob Messner contributed to a strong defense, but late in the second half the defense was called for a push. The controversial call resulted in a Morris Hills Penalty Kick. They scored to get the victory.
Fri 09/22 4 Parsippany A Lost 2-1. Parsippany (4-0) took an early 2-0 lead. Summit's goal was scored by Matt Auster when he put in the rebound off the goalie following a defelected shot by Ryan Clark. But Summit's Goal Keeper, Robbie Messner, was the key to keeping Summit in the game. He faced a withering Parsippany attack that resulted in 33 shots and 25 saves. What's more, most of the shots were hard hit from close range.
Sat 09/23 4 Linden H Lost 3-1  Ryan Clark scored with 6 minutes left in the 1st half, but Linden tied it up a minute later. Two 2nd half Linden goals led to the loss.

Thu 09/28 4 Mt. Olive H Lost 4-0 
Mon 10/02 4 Hanover Park A Won 4-2 Summit played very well today. The scoring started early when Matt Auster assisted Steve Dionne. Dionne returned the favor by assisting Auster to make it 2-0. HP then pulled within one. However summit stayed strong and Matt Starker headed one in late in the half to give summit a 3-1 halftime lead. In the second half summit Steve Dionne put another one in on a free kick to go up 4-1. HP then scored again to make it 4-2. Robbie Messner had an strong game in goal and saved a PK to help preserve the victory.
Wed 10/04 4 Parsippany Hills A Lost 2-1 With a little under 3 mins in the first half Par Hills knocked in two quick goals. Summit did not quit, they stayed strong and Matt Starker knocked one in after being set up by Ryan Mahoni. However Summit just couldn't get an equalizer.
Sat 10/07 TBA Dayton (UCT) Lost 3-1  
Tue 10/10 4 Mendham A Lost 4-3 Summit played one of its best games of the season. Matt Starker started the scoring early. Mendham put one in to make it 1-1 at the half. Early in the second half Matt Auster assisted Steve Dionne to give Summit a 2-1 lead. Two goals by Mendham put them up 3-2, however Steve Dionne replied quickly to tie the game at 3-3. With only 4 min. left Mendham got a loose ball and put it away.
Thu 10/12 4 Morris Hills H Won 2-0 Summit played an excellent game. A hard fought 1st half ended in a scoreless tie. However, in the second half Alex Tinucchi converted a block by the goalie to give Summit a 1-0 lead. Bill Karesh added an insurance goal off a Steve Dionne feed to give Summit a 2-0 victory. Goal Keeper Robbie Messner had a great game and received his first, and long overdue, shutout.

Thu 10/19     Madison Won 4-0 Ryan Clark started the scoring early off an assist from Steve Dionne. Dionne then set up Bill Karesh for the 2nd goal. Dionne scored to make it a 3-0 game at halftime. In the 2nd half Dionne again assisted Karesh to make it a 4-0 game. At that point Ben Snickus took over from Robbie Messner as Goal Keeper and helped preserve the shutout.
Fri 10/20 4 Parsippany H Lost 2-1 Summit played hard and the 1st half ended 0-0. Parisppany scored first in the 2nd half but Steve Dionne assisted Ryan Clark to tie the game at 1-1. However, Parisppany scored late in the game to win.
Tue 10/24 4 West Essex H Lost 3-0 However the score could have been worse but for good defensive play of Robbie Messner's, including an incredable PK save early in the first half. 
Thu 10/26 4 Mt. Olive A Lost 3-1 Mt Olive broke a scoreless tie late in the 1st half with 2 quick goals. However, Summit narrowed the gap when Jeff Sparrow assisted Ryan Clark to make it 2-1. A late Goal by Mt. Olive sealed the loss. Summit's offense was hampered by the loss of Steve Dionne who is still being plagued by a knee injury. 
Sat 10/28 10:30 Dayton H Lost 2-1 Summit dominated the first half. Steve Dionne scored off a Matt Starker assist to make the game 1-0 at the half. Dayton rallied with two quick goals midway through the second put Dayton up 2-1.
Mon 10/30 4 Hanover Pk. H Won 3-2 Summit dominated this game from the start. With the aid of a red card on Hanover Park Summit played a man up most of the game. Ryan Clark Scored early from 40 yards out (helped by the wind). HP tied it up with a PK to end the half 1-1. In the 2nd half HP scored early. However, right on the kick off Pete Arnold assisted Matt Auster to make it 2-2.With 10 min. left in the game Steve Dionne sent a ball deep and Matt Auster, using his speed, went one-on-one with the keeper to score the winning goal. The game was shortened due to darkness.
Thu 11/02 4 Parsippany Hills H Won 6-1. Matt Auster started the scoring early off a deflection by Matt Starker. Auster scored again off a cross by Steve Dionne. Parisppany Hills then scored to keep the game close (2-1). However, Matt Auster came up with Summit 1st "hat trick" when he scored his 3rd goal of the first half off a Matt Starker Header. Steve Dionne scored the final goal of the half off another Matt Starker assist. In the second half Ryan Clark Scored a beautiful goal from 35 yards out off a deflection by Alex Tunnichi, Matt Starker added Summit's final goal in the last 10 seconds of the game off an Ian Rush assist.
Tue 11/07 4 Dover A  Lost 3-1 Summit started the scoring early when Matt Auster Scored off a Ryan Mahoni Deflection. The half ended with Summit up 1-0. Unfortunately, Dover came back withscored 2 quick goals to put them up 2-1. They scored one more goal before it became too dark to continue play..
