score. With 7 minutes remaining Jana Lee booted the winner
off an assist from Liz Essig. Beth Dickey
blocked 4 shots. |

with about 5 min left in the 1st half. It remained a one goal
game until Mendham scored again with 2 1/2 min. left in the game.
Summit managed 6 shots on the Mendaham goal. |

Won 3-0 Sophomores Jana Lee and
Karen Jann provided all the scoring with Lee scoring twice
and Jann once. Kim Gianis and Andrea Podesda provided
assists. Beth Dickey picked up her first shutout. |

Won 2-0 Nicole Fotiades broke a
scoreless tie 10 minutes into the 2nd half when she scored off
a centering pass from Andrea Posada. Six minutes later
Karen Jann made a steal and fired a perfect shot into
the net. Beth Dickey picked up her second straight shutout. |

Won 4-2 This
was Summit's first ever soccer game under the lights at Tatlock
before the largest Soccer crowd anyone can remember. Karen
Jann scored 13 minutes into the 1st half off a corner kick
by Kim Gianis. A minute later Jann scored on a
rebound off a shot by Jana Lee. A minute later Parsippany
closed to 2-1 with a goal. Jann picked up a hat trick
with 13 min. left in the half, but Parsippany answered on a breakaway.
The half ended 3-2. The only goal of the 2nd half came on a free
kick when Lee faked the kicked and then screened for Jann's
goal. |

Summit defense to gain her 4th shut out. Karen Jann scored
Summit's only goal, her 11th goal of the season. Jann's
game winner came of an indirect kick by Shannon Garvey. |

Lost 3-2 (OT) Mt. Olive took advantage
of a slow start by Summit and picked up 2 easy goals within the
first 5 minutes. That served as a wakeup call and Summit picked
up its game. Karen Jann scored on a header from a corner
kick and picked up a second goal when she went one on one and
beat the MO her. Regulation play ended with a 2-2 tie. Mt. Olive
scored in overtime. |
