The 2nd half started badly when, after a bad MH snap on a punt attempt had led to a Summit possession on the MH 28 yard line, Morris Hills intercepted the second pass attempt. That pretty much took the wind out of Summit's sails and things went downhill fast. The 2nd half ended with Summit completing only 2 of 11 passes and generating only 7 yards of total offense in those final 24 minutes.
Summit's running game was severely hampered by the loss of Mike Nelson, who was on the sidelines recovering from an ankle injury suffered in the Mendham game
Note: The term "Other Yards" includes such things as yardage lost when the QB is sacked or when the ball is snapped over a punter's head.
