Mt. Olive opened the game with zone defense but Dan Dugan fired a pair of 3s and Chris Jones added another to make it clear that a zone wasn't going to do the job. Ryan Carey added 4 FGs mostly off of Mt. Olive turnovers and Summit finished the quarter with a 20-10 lead. After an even 2nd quarter, Summit continued to pull away. Dugan drained another 3-pointer in the 2nd and 3rd quarters to take the team lead in season 3-pointers. Carey led the scoring with 24 and Dugan hit for 19 points. Lamar Freeman was in double digits with 15 and had a great rebounding night with seven. Chris Jones led rebounding with eight. |
