This was quite a first half. Summit hit a game's worth of points in the 1st half and then coasted to victory. The 1st half scoring was punctuated by six 3 pointers. Chris Jones got things started by draining a 3 pointer on the opening shot of the game. Dan Dugan and Ryan Carey took the cue as each hit a three and Jones capped the 1st quarter barrage with his second 3PT shot. Dugan added a pair of 3s in the 2nd quarter. As the half ended Carey and Dugan each had 13 points, Alex Sprinzen had scored 11 and Jones had 8 points. When the game smoke cleared everyone on the bench had gotten some real playing time. Carey's game high 22 points was the 8th time this season that he has scored in the 20s. Sprinzen led the rebounding with six.
