Mon04/024:00PMRoxbury H Won 14-2 Summit grabbed an 11-1 lead at the half and coasted to the victory. Summit, led by Vicky Paccione's 5 goals, easily won the home opener. Two goals apiece were scored by Katie Ardington (4 assists), Mackenzie Clark (1 assist), Katie Tully (1 assist) and Kate Stefans. Kim Gianis (2 assists) rounded out the scoring with one goal.  The Summit defense limited Roxbury to only 8 shots. In goal, Lexi Harrison had 4 saves: Shante Cofield had 2 saves.
Wed 04/044:00PMRandolph H Won 14-5 Katie Ardington led the Summit scoring with 4 goals and 1 assist. Liz Gamble scored twice and had 2 assists. Karen Jann, Liz Sheridan and Mackenzie Clark each had 2 goals and an assist. Kate Stefans and Kim Gianis both had a goal and an assist. Katie Tully provided 3 assists. Lexi Harrison had 7 saves in goal.

Tue 04/104:00PMColumbia H Won 11-2  Summit (ranked #5) had four goals before Columbia (Ranked #4) knew what hit them and called time out. With Summit ahead 10-0 and about a minute left in the first half, Columbia finally scored a goal. Within 30 seconds of the start of the second half Summit scored, for a 11-1 lead. Summit spent most of the remaining half killing the clock. Liz Sheridan had 3 goals and 1 assist; Liz Gamble had 2 goals and 1 assist; Katie Ardington had 2 goals and 1 assist; Mackenzie Clark and Karen Jann with 1 and 1; Kim Gianis, Katie Tully and Kate Stefans with 1 goal; Vicky Paccione with 2 assists and Steph Cherkezian with 1 assist.

Awesome defensive teamwork today-held Columbia to 6 shots. Lexi Harrison had 3 saves and Wendy Havourd had 1. Columbia played without 5 suspended starters
Sat 04/1410:00AMWest Morris A Lost 10-7 Katie Ardington tie the game 3-3 late in the 1st half, it was her 2nd goal of the half. Unfortunately #2 ranked West Morris rallied with 4 unanswered goals and never trailed again.  
Tue 04/174:00PMLivingston H Won 15-3 Summit's sophomores showed that the future of Women's Lacrosse looks good. The sophomores delivered nine of Summit's 15 goals. The scoring was led by Liz Gamble who scored 5 goals and and assist. Karen Jann and Erin Lyons each scored a pair of goals.
Thur 04/194:00PMWest Essex A Won 10-9 After 3 one-goal losses to West Essex last year, Summit finally turned the tables. West Essex had tied the score at 9-9 with only 90 seconds left but Liz Sheridan scored unassisted with only 34 seconds left in the game. Amazingly, Liz Gamble scored 7 of Summit's 10 goals.  
Mon 04/234:00PMMorristown A Won 14-3 Katie Ardington led Summit with 3 goals and 2 assists. Karen Jann also had 3 goals. Melissa Jewett, Vicky Paccione and Mackenzie Clark each scored twice. 
Wed 04/25 4:00PMRoxbury A Won 15-2 Liz Sheridan and Katie Ardington each had 3 goals and 2 assists and Vicky Paccione also scored 3 times.

Tue 05/01 4:00PMMendham H Won 14-2 Within the first 2 minutes Summit led 3-0. The second team took over at 7-0 and scored 3 goals before Mendham finally scored. The half ended 11-1. With the first team back in to start the second half, Summit quickly scored two more goals to make the score 13-1. Summit then went in to their time-killing routine, with frequent substitutions. Mendham scored once more, but Summit didn't answer until the very end of the game. Mackenzie Clark had a hat trick. Katie Ardington, Vicky Paccione, Liz Gamble & Katie Tully each had 2 goals.
Thu 05/03 4:00PMColumbia A Won 11-5 Liz Sheridan and Kate Stefans led Summit past #12 Columbia. Each scored 3 goals. Sheridan also contributed 2 assists. Liz Gamble scored twice and had a pair of assists. Katie Ardington added 2 goals.
Sat 05/05 2:00PMMt. Lakes H Won 12-11 Summit fell behind 7-5 at the end of the first half but came out fast in the 2nd half. Liz Sheridan and Katie Ardington each scored a pair of goals in the first 11 minutes of the half to regain the lead 9-7. After Moutain Lakes scored, Sheridan and Liz Gamble both scored to make it an 11-8 game. With about 4 minutes left Moutain Lakes scored again, but the lead was still 2 goals. Then lightning struck. With less than a minute left ML scored to make the score 11-10 . With 16 seconds remaining, an errant pass from the Summit Goalie was intercepted and dumped in the net to tie the score and apparently send the game to over time. However, Kim Gianis got possession after the face off and raced towards the ML goals determined to get off a shot. She did, and scored with only 4 seconds left.

Sheridan and Ardington each had 4 goals and Gamble had 3 goals  

Mon 05/07 4:00PMHunterdon Central A Tie 8-8 Summit fell behind 8-7, but with about 10 minutes left Katie Ardington tied the score off an assist from Liz Sheridan. Sheridan also scored 3 times. 
Wed 05/09 4:00PMWest Morris H Lost 15-13 Summit was hot for the first half. After West Morris scored quickly and easily, Summit came back with 3 goals for a 3-1 lead. WM scored and Summit replied with 4 more goals to take a 7-3 lead. The half ended with Summit leading 10-5. Liz Sheridan led the 1st half attack with 3 goals and 3 assists. Mackenzie Clark and Liz Gamble each contributed 2 goals.

The 2nd half was a complete reversal. West Morris scored 4 goals before Clark scored off a Gamble assist to make it 11-9. WM scored 4 more goals to take a 11-13 lead, with the gaming nearing its end. In the last 3 minutes Clark scored again to make it 12-13, but WM scored 2 more, putting the game out of reach. Summit scored a one more goal but it was too little, too late.

Thu 05/10 4:00PMLivingston A Won 15-2 Summit returned to its winning way with an easy victory. Mackenzie Clark led the summit scoring with 4 goals. Liz Gamble, Katie Tully, Katie Ardington and Katie Stefans each added 2 goals. Ardington and Stefans also had 2 assists apiece. Lexi Harrison had 6 saves in goal.
Tue 05/15 4:00PMWest Essex H Tie 11-11 West Essex (#11 in the Star Ledger) scored with less than 4 minutes left in the game to forge a tie. Liz Sheridan and Mackenzie Clark led the Summit scoring with 4 goals apiece. Katie Ardington contributed 2 goals. Wendy Havourd made 10 saves.
Thu 05/17 4:00PMMorristown H Won 13-2 Liz Sheridan, Liz Gamble & Katie Ardington all recorded "hat tricks" to power Summit. Kate Stefans added 2 goals.

Won 11-7 Katie Ardington scored 3 goals in the1st half to lead Summit to a 8-4 halftime lead. Liz Gamble also scored 3 goals. Katie Tully and Liz Sheridan each added two goals and had 2 assists.

Semi-finals
Won 15-10 Katie Ardington led Summit with 4 goals. The close 1st half ended with Summit leading 6-5. Summit broke things open in the 2nd half, outscoring Ridge 9-5. Liz Gamble scred 3 goals while Mackenzie Clark and Kate Stefans added 2 apiece.
Fri 6/1 4PM Hopewell Vly
Group B
North Final
Won 13-7 Summit, the perfect host, allowed Hopewell Valley to score the first 2 goals, but soon tied the game on goals by Liz Gamble and Katie Ardington. Six more consecutive goals by the Hilltoppers ,8 in all, by Mackenzie Clark, Gamble, Vicky Paccione, Gamble, Ardington, and Liz Sheridan , made the score 8-2 with 5:30 to go in the first half. Summit went to halftime with a 9-3 lead.

Hopewell Valley opened the second half with the first goal, but Summit responded with goals by Gamble, Ardington, and Kate Stefans to run the score to 12-4. It was an impressive win for the Hilltoppers; as Hopewell Valley had come up with two road victories over No. 12 Mountain Lakes and No 10 West Essex to reach the championship game.

Gamble had four goals for the game, and Ardington had three goals and two assists. Summit will meet top ranked Moorestown (20-0) on Tuesday for the Group B championship at 5 PM (according to the NJSIAA WebSite) at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. Moorestown,

State Semi-finals @ Monnmouth Univ.

Lost 17-4 The young Summit lacrosse team came up against powerful Moorestown in the semifinals. Moorestown, winner of 44 straight games, swept past No. 4 Summit with a 17-4 victory. Liz Sheridan scored Summit's first goal on a pass from Liz Gamble to make the score 2-1. Katie Ardington scored at 13:21 on a pass from Mackenzie Clark to cut the lead to 4-2. After Moorestown took a 6-2 lead, Liz Gamble came up with a goal at the 9:09 mark to cut the lead to 6-3. Moorestown closed the first half with four consecutive goals to run the score to 10-3. The winners netted the first five goals of the second half to run the score to 15-3. Kate Stefans ended the scoring for Summit with a goal with 5:36 remaining in the game. Summit ended the season with a (16-3-2) record, will return all but three players next year and can now look forward to another powerful team in the upcoming season.
