Disclaimer: This information came from the Morris Record and you will note there is a error in the score by quarters. Summit totals to 49 but the score was really 47-36. Further Confusion: The Star Ledger (Morris Edition) gives yet another score of 45-38. The only common thread is that Summit won the game. I will fix all this up when I get a chance to see the official scorebook.
Summit jumped to a quick 12 - 6 1st quarter lead, but Dover rallied to tie the score at halftime. In the 2nd half Summit steadily pulled away for the season opening win. Karen Jann led the Summit scoring with 15 points. Shante Cofield is still recovering from her leg injury and won;y be able to return to action until sometime in January.
