This game got off to a fabulous start as Summit hit on its first 4 shots, eventually building a 14-0 score. Matt Audibert set the tone by draining two straight 3 pointers. Just at the end of the quarter Caldwell scored on a free throw to break the perfect record. If Summit thought they could relax they were badly mistaken. Caldwell came out with pressure in the 2nd quarter, forced some turnovers and went on a 16 - 5 run. Late in the quarter the score stood at 19-17. Fortunately, Dwayne Reid scored from behind the arc so that the quarter ended with Summit ahead by five. The 3rd quarter was a draw with both teams picking up 17 points. Dan Dugan led the quarter with 8 points.

Audibert got the final quarter off to a great start by hitting his 3rd 3 pointer of the night. Tony Johnson followed with 2 free throws and suddenly the lead was ten. Caldwell never seriously threatened again. At the end Caldwell was forced to foul and Johnson, Alex Sprinzen and Audibert hit 7 of 7 free throws.

Summit will play the winner of tonight's Montville vs Orange game on Friday. Time and place to be announced.
