Summit jumped to a big first half 37-22 lead behind the hot shooting of Alex Sprinzen (17 points) and Dan Dugan (12 points). Enter the 2nd half it seemed it would be clear sailing for Summit, but Chatham clearly had different ideas. Summit's shooting turned cold and Chatham picked the pressing defense apart as they pulled to within 5 points by the end of the 3rd quarter.
Fortunately for Summit's fans the team really turned things around. They turned up the defensive pressure and the shots started dropping. Dugan garnered 14 points in the final quarter and Sprinzen added 7 points, while , contributed 5 more. Sprinzen finished with 28 points, Dugan with 26 points and Audibert with 13.
Summit advanced to the finals of the holiday tournament and will play the winner of the Madison - New Providence game at 8PM on Saturday.
