Summit's five seniors (Dan Dugan, Cory Hershey, Mark Andrews, Greg Mortenson and Matt Audibert) played their final regular season game. They were honored by starting the game as a senior team and helped build a 15-9 1st quarter lead. Summit ended the half with a 27-19 advantage behind the scoring of Dugan (12 points) and Audibert (9 points). Unfortunately, Audibert got into foul trouble and didn't see much action in the 2nd half.
The 3rd quarter was something of a disaster for Summit. GL out scored Summit 7-1 in the first 6 minutes of the quarter and GL closed to within 2 points. Fortunately, baskets by Alex Sprinzen and Dwight Reid allowed Summit to end the half ahead by 7. The big story of the final quarter was Tony Johnson who got Summit going with 8 key points and Summit won going away.
