Summit led from wire to wire as they won the holiday tournament at New Providence. Alex Sprinzen anchored the team, hitting on 10 of his 13 shots and 3 of 4 free throws. He was named as the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament. Dwayne Reid came off the bench and picked up 16 points. Dan Dugan was the other player in double figures with 14 points. Summit outscored New Providence in each quarter on its way to a 20 point victory.
For the first 5 game of the seaason Sprinzen has hit 61% of the FG attempts and 87% of his free throws. Dugan has scored a team leading 91 points while Sprinzen is close behind with 90 point.
