Tony Johnson got this game off to a great start by hitting on all 6 of his 1st quarter shots for a total of 14 points, on his way to a game high 24 points. For the game he scored on 10 of his15 field goal attempts. In addition, Johnson led the team in rebounds with eight. Dan Dugan finished with 22 points. At one stretch in the 2nd and 3rd quarters Dugan connected on 5 three-pointers. Alex Sprinzen also scored in double digits with 12 points. All totaled, nine players contributed points and Summit's 80 points was a season high.
Summit's record went to 6-2 with only five more games left before the State tournament cutoff date of Februaury 2nd. One more win will assure Summit a spot in the tournament.
