Brearley grabbed a quick lead, but Lauren Ertz had a big first half with 15 points. Summit held a big 24-12 lead at the half. By the end of the 3rd quarter Summit had an insurmountable 38-18 lead and Ertz had poured in 23 points. Ertz finished with a season high 27 points to lead the way to victory. Ashley Holmes added 10 point and was the only other player in double digits.
Summit advances in the Union County tournament and will play Union, the top seeded team. Union is on a 10 game winning streak. The game will be played at Linden HS at 8PM on Monday (2/11).
