Summit picked up 3 runs in the top of the 1st Inning. With 2 outs Jeff Della Piazza and Paul Krupa drew walks. Brad Dolny drove in one run with a single and Zach Barber doubled to drive in the final two. Parsippany picked up a run in the bottom of the 1st and 3 more in the 2nd to take a 4-3 lead. In the 3rd inning Dolny singled, stole second, went to third on the catcher's bad throw, and scored on Barber's single to tie the game. After 2 outs in the 6th Noah Landau hit back to the pitcher, who threw wildly to first. Bryan Lawton followed with a home run over the right field fence. Summit picked up an insurance run in the seventh, thanks to a walk and two singles. The extra run was important, as Parsippany scored twice in the bottom of the 7th, and had the tying runs on second and third when the last batter flied to center.
