Summit quickly established a dominant position via an aggressive defense. All 5 starters scored in the 1st quarter as Summit built an 18-9 lead. Before halftime came the outcome of the game had pretty much been decided.
Summit picked up its 5th consecutive victory to take its record to 9-3. Next week will be the most important week of the season as Summit will take on the two top teams in the conference, Mendham and Mt. Olive. Both games will be at home. While Summit has already qualified for the State Tournament, two victories next week would insure a good seed in the Sectional and put Summit back in the hunt for the Conference title.
Alex Sprinzen hit on 9 of his 12 shots for 20 points. He also led the team in rebounds with 11.
