Tue 04/01 4PMColumbia H Won 9-7 (OT) Columbia rallied after being down 7-4 mid way through the 2nd half to send the game into overtime. Cassie Boucherit and Liz gamble scored in overtime to secure the victory. Gamble finished with 3 goals and Karen Jann scored twice.  Won 8-1 The game was abbreviated due to wet field conditions. Jackie Grabowski had 3 goals and Amy Santella and Katie Arms each contributed 2. Becky Sandgrund playing point also scored. The girls controlled the ground balls and tempo of the game. It was a fine effort by the whole team under less than ideal conditions.  
Thu 04/03 4PMWest Essex H Lost 11-5 Freshman Gina Scioscia was in goal for Summit in place starting Goalie Susannah Cahalan who was sick. Scioscia was able to hold off the powerful West Essex attack for most of the first half, but by half time they held a 6-0 lead. Summit scored the 1st 3 goals of the 2nd half on shots by Karen Lann, Liz Gamble and Ali Ardington. But WE outscored Summit 5-2 in the rest of the half.  Lost 8-5 Summit JV lost to West Essex by 3 goals in a tightly fought game. Jaimie Coviello led Summit with 2 goals and Claire Kelly, Amy Santella and Jaime Goldfarb each chipped in one. While West Essex came out on top today, the Summit girls look forward to a rematch later in the season.

Tue 04/15 4PMLivingston A Won 17-12 Liz Gamble had a big game, scoring 6 goals, while Karen Jann had 4 goals.Won 11-5. Coming off a slow first half with Summit leading 3-2, the girls put in a great second half and took a commanding lead. Amy Santella and Monica Jones each had hat tricks, Liz West contributed two goals, and Katie Arms, Sage Lefkowitz and Alex Cotter were good for one each. The low defense led by Sky DiRuggiero, Lindsay Butler and Katie Starker were key to today's success as was the hustle and ground ball control of Jaimie Goldfarb and Julia Turner.
Wed 04/16 4PM Randolph H Won 12-9 Liz Gamble scored 4 goals, giving her 10 goals in the last two games. Ali Ardington and Alex Garvey each contributed a pair of goals Won 10-2 Summit dominated Randolph today as they did a nice job moving the ball up the field and picking up ground balls. Jaimie Coviello led the scoring with 4 goals, Liz West had 2, and Jackie Grabowski, Amy Santella, Lissa Martin, Allison Cahott each had one goal a piece. The defense played well but was little tested due to the solid control of the midfield by Summit's wings and low defense.
Tue 04/22 4PMChatham A Won 14-10 Karen Jann led Summit's offense with 4 goals and apair of assists. Liz Gamble added 3 goals while Alex Garvey and Heather Scudellari each had 2 goals Won 13-6 Summit JV dominated the game today in Chatham. Lauren Weber and Liz Wheeler did a fine job in the goal aided by solid team defensive play. The Summit attack was well balanced in terms of scoring: Amy Santella had a hat trick, Liz West, Allison Cahott, and Jaimie Goldfarb each had 2 goals and Claire Kelly, Sage Lefkowitz, Grace Obando, and Jackie Grabowski contributed one a piece.
Thu 04/24 4PMRoxbury H Won 15-2 Liz Gamble continued her scorng rampage with 6 goals. That makes 18 goals in the last 4 games and 22 for the season. Karen Jann added 2 goals and 3 assists.

Won 14-2 The team demonstrated versatility today as players who normally play defense played offense and vice versa. Great teamwork!! The scoring was balanced with Amy Santella scoring 3, Allison Cahott Lyndsay Butler and Grace Obando each scoring 2. Becky Sandgrund, Jaimie Coviello, Katie Arms, Julia Schuster, and Lauren Jaskolkski each had 1 goal. Alex Cotter made the "play of the game" as she stopped a fast break in the second half.  
Sat 04/26 4PMMendham A Lost 9-7 Summit jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Mendham (#13 in the Star Ledger) rallied, out scoring Summit 8-3 to win the game. Liz Gamble scored 5 goals and Karen Jann scored twice. Mendham is 7-1Tied 3-3 On a rain soaked day in an abbreviated "game" that lasted only 20 minutes, Summit tied Mendham. The Summit attack was well balanced with goals by Allison Cahott, Amy Santella and Grace Obando.
Mon 04/28 4PMMorristown H Won 12-6 Summit's offenses was paced by Liz Gamble and Emily Moore. Each scored 3 times Morristown is 1-4  Won13-2 The offense was led by Jaimie Coviello with 4 goals and Jamie Goldfarb with 3. Jackie Grabowski had 2 goals and Amy Santella, Jill Pomeroy, Sage Lefkowitz and were good for one each. Claire Kelly made two excellent assists. The defense was led by two fine goal tending efforts: Lauren Weber had 3 saves and Liz Wheeler had 4. Lissa Martin, Allison Cahott and Lyndsay Butler did a fine job scooping up ground balls.  
Wed 04/30 4PMColumbia A Won 12-6 Liz Gamble continued her high scoring with 5 goals and 2 assists. Karen Jann added 3 goals. Won 10-1 The scoring was led by Allison Cahott, Jaimie Coviello, and Liz West who each had 2. Contributing 1 each were Amy Santella, Lissa Martin, Sage Lefkowitz and Katie Starker(her first career goal-congratulations!). Equally worthy of mention were the fine assists by Ashley Kanaley, Liz West and Claire Kelly which led to a number of those goals.  
Fri 05/02 4PMWest Essex A Lost 14-5 West Essex continued its dominance of Summit. Karen Jann scored twice.  
Mon 05/05 4PMRandolph A Won 16-5 Summit easily defeated 1-10 Randolph. Karen Jann and Emily Moore led Summit with hat tricks. Cassie Boucherit had 2 goals and 2 assists. Won 6-3 While it was a messy game with the ball spending a good deal of the time on the ground, Summit managed to control the game and score. Liz Wheeler played a great game in goal and really kept Summit in the match. Jaimie Coviello and Jackie Grabowski had 2 goals each and Clair Kelly and Grace Obando contributed one a piece. Alex Cotter and assisted on two of those goals.  
Wed 05/07 4PMWest Morris Cent H Lost 14-5 Lost 8-6 Summit played a good game but lost to West Morris Central in a hotly contested match. The defense was led by a solid effort from Liz Wheeler in goal with the help of Sky DiRuggiero, Becky Sandgrund, Kate Starker and Lyndsay Butler playing low defense. Offensively, Jaimie Coviello led the scoring with a hat trick. Jackie Grabowski, Katie Arms and Claire Kelly each contributed a goal in the Hilltoppers effort. The girls walked off the field with their heads held high.  
Fri 05/09 4PMLivingston H Won 13-5 Karen Jann and Liz Gamble led the Summit offense with 4 goals apiece. Livingston is 5-6Won 10-4 After a listless first half that left Summit ahead 3-2, the JV really improved their performance. Jaimie Coviello had a great day and led the scoring with 6 goals. Grace Obando, Sage Lefkowitz, Claire Kelly and Alex Cotter each contributed one. Excellent assists to those goals were made by Jackie Grabowski, Amy Santella, Grace Obando, Claire Kelly and Lauren Jaskoloski. Sky DiRuggiero did a fine job in goal and was aided by solid defensive effort led by Becky Sandgrund, Katie Starker and Lyndsay Butler. The midfield transition looked very good thanks to the effort of the wings.
Mon 05/12 330PM Oak Knoll H Won 11-10 Karen Jann fed Lauren Cooper for the tie breaking score with a minute and a half left in the game. Five minutes earlier Oak Knoll had scored to knott the game at 10-10. Oak Knoll entered the game with a 12-1 record. Liz Gamble had 5 goals while Jann and Cooper each score twice. OakKnoll is ranked #13

Won 7-4 Summit over cross town rival and undefeated Oak Knoll. Jaimie Coviello and Amy Santella led the scoring for Summit with 2 goals a piece. Claire Kelly, Jackie Grabowski, and Jill Pomeroy each scored one. The team passed well with assists contributed by Alex Cotter, Coviello, Kelly, and Grabowski. The defense held Summit in the game with excellent play by Becky Sandgrund, Lauren Jaskolski, Kate Starker, and Sky DiRuggiero in net.  
Wed 05/14 4PMMt. Lakes H Won 8-6 Karen Jann, Alex Garvey, and Gina Sciocsia scored the final 3 goals in Summit's upset of #10 Mt. Lakes. Liz Wheeler had 14 saves in goal.Lost 10-5 The Summit squad did nice job of recovering from a 4 goal deficit as the first half ended and trailed by 1 during the first few minutes of the second half. Unfortunately, they could not keep up the momentum. Jaimie Coviello had a hat trick and Jamie Goldfarb had 3 assists and 2 goals for Summit.  
Thu 05/15 4PMRoxbury A Won 12-10 Annie Burns broke an 8-8 tie with 7:10 left. Liz Gamble's five goals led Summit.  Won10-4 The team did an excellent job today and demonstrated a great deal of versatility. Sage Lefkowitz debuted in goal and did a fine job protecting the Summit net. Jaimie Coviello led the scoring with 3 goals. Amy Santella had 2 and Sky DiRuggiero, Katie Starker, Jill Pomeroy, Julia Turner, and Becky Sandgrund contributed one each. Pomeroy, DiRuggiero, and Starker also had excellent assists.

Won 7-5 Liz Gamble led the scoring with 4 goals. Gina Sciocsia added a pair of goals and Liz Wheeler had 9 saves

North B 2nd Round
Won 12-5 Summit defeated Kent Place (14-4) to advance to the North B Semi-Finals. Liz Gamble scored 6 goals, 3 in the 1st half as Summit took an 8-3 lead. Alex Garvey added 3 goals and Emily Moore scored twice.
Fri 05/234PMMorristown A  DNPWon 14-4 The Summit JV finished as they've played all season with a great team effort. Ground balls were picked up, defense was tough, passing was crisp and goals were scored. Great job all season: Becky, Sky, Katie S, Sage, Julia T, Lissa, Lauren, Alex, Ashley, Katie H., Amy, Grace, Jamie, Claire, Jaimie, Jackie, Cara, Nicole, Katie A., Allison, Jill, and Julia S. Wed 05/28 330PM Oak Knoll Lost 15-11 Summit jumped to a 3-0 lead early in the 1st half on goals by Lauren Cooper, Karen Jann and Liz Gamble. However, Oak Knoll dominated the rest of the half , outscoring Summit 11-2. Summit went on a 3-1 run early in the second half to get to within 4 goals, but that was as close as they could get. Liz Gamble finished with 5 goals (71 for the season) and Karen Jann had 3 goals.
