The second time was almost a charm for the Lady Hilltoppers as they gave a solid Morris Hills team a run for their money. A close game throughout, Summit never trailed too far behind and kept themselves in the game, heading into the half with a 7 point deficit. The Lady Hilltoppers did everything they needed to win, feeding the ball down low and hitting key jumpers when needed. They were able to cut the lead to three late in the fourth, but were never able to draw even with Morris Hills. Their foul shooting, which has been pivotal late in recent games, proved to be detrimental tonight as they struggled hitting 2-9 in the final quarter. Rachel Tabek, once again, led all scorers with 11 points, Sasha Orenczak layed in 10 and Ashley Holmes contributed 7. This team continues to improve steadily with each game and we expect to continue to see good things from them as we enter the second half of our season.
