The Lady Hilltoppers came out fired up against 20th ranked, and unbeaten, Parsippany Hills with several goals in mind. One, to score more than the stingy 21.8 point average that Par Hills has established this season. Two, to become the second team ever to score more than 30 points in the game and third, to feature a double digit scorer allowed only once before by this state ranked team. And reach their goals they did, even with the loss of starter Tomiko Cabell to a wrist injury and with starting center Ashley Holmes fighting a stomach virus. Rachel Tabek hit 4 three's, 1 field goal and 3-4 from the line to lead all scorer's with a season high 17 points. Ashley Holmes played a tough defensive game and layed in 7 for the Lady Hilltoppers while Julia Turner contributed 4. Summit went into halftime with a 23 point deficit, but came out in the third quarter fired up to reach those goals, outscoring Par Hills 25-19 in the second half to do just that. Tabek is averaging 40% from three point land this season. They will face Dover at home on Tuesday, January 28th.

The Lady Hilltopper's Jaki Sanchez came out with the hot hand scoring all 9 of Summit's first quarter points. However, she had to take a seat on the bench after being tagged with her third20 foul late in that same quarter. With Sanchez unable to return until the second half, Summit struggled to hit any field goal attempts and went into the locker room with a 9 point deficit.  They came out strong in the third quarter and fought hard to get back into the game. Geremay Tan hit three 3 pointers in the third quarter to spark a possible Summit comeback.  However, Summit was unable to close the gap any closer than six points, the final deficit in the game.  Sanchez led all scorers with 12, Tan with 11 and Novo with 7 for the Lady Hilltoppers.
