The Lady Hilltoppers lost a closely contested game to Parsippany in OT after a stirring and emotional comeback late in the 4th Quarter. Summit entered the 4th quarter trailing by 10 and slowly chopped away at the lead throughout the last 8 minutes of regulation. With under 90 seconds left, senior co-captain Alia Carey, playing only in her first game of the season due to injury, hit her first shot of the game, a 3 pointer, to bring Summit to within 4 points. After Parsippany hit 1 of 2 foul shots in the ensuing possession, Summit scored a quick 2 by Tomiko Cabell to bring Summit to within 3 points. Parsippany turned the ball over on their next possession on a great defensive play by Geremay Tan and Alia Carey hit her second shot of the game, another 3 pointer, to tie the game with under 6 seconds left in regulation. In OT, Summit couldn't hit a field goal and went 5 for 8 from the line while Parsippany hit 3 field goals and went 2 for 2 from the line to seal the victory.
