Summit has alternated between nail biters and blowouts. This was the latter. Summit was clearly the better team and quickly estabilished a 13-4 lead. Dwayne Reid and Wellington Smith dominated Summit's early scoring as they combined for 27 of Summit's 1st half total of 31 points.
On defense Smith stifled Hanover Park by blocking many shots and pulling down 14 rebounds. Reid focused on disrupting the HP offense by repeatedly stealing the ball and racing for layups.
Reid finished with 28 points and Smith added 20 points
