Wed 04/07 4PM Columbia H Lost 13-7 Won 10-0 The Summit Girls JV Lacrosse team scored a solid victory in their seaon opening win over Columbia. The team played well as a whole and did a good job picking up ground balls and controlling possession time. Jackie Grabowski scored 4 goals, Jaime Goldfarb chipped in 3 and had four assists, and Sal Baker, Jen Dang, Becky Sandgrund contributed one a piece.
Thu 04/08 4PMRandolph A Won 15-5 Summit's offense was led by Alex Garvey who scored 5 goals. Won 8-3 As rain poured down and the field turned to mud, the Summit JV defeated Randolph. Highlights of the game included excellent control of the draws by center Sal Baker and wings Jackie Goldfarb, Liz Mormak, Jen Dang, Baker, Cooke, Lobo, Cotter, Weisbrot, and Wiggins. The Summit attack was well balanced with Baker, Grabowski and Goldfarb chipping in 2 goals each and Sartorious and Cotter contributing one a piece. A number of these goals came off excellent assists. On the defensive end, the girls did a fine job slowing the ball down and recovering ground balls.
Sat 04/10 10AM Mendham A Lost 11-6 Mendham remained unbeaten at 3-0. Gina Scioscia scored twice for Summit.

Thu 04/15 4PM Livingston H Won 13-5 The game was moved to Livingston to take advantage of their artificial turf. Alex Garvey certainly took advantage as she scored a career high 6 goals to lead the Summit offense. Gina Scioscia and Emily Moore each scored twice. Livingston fell to 1-4Won 7-2 On another rain-soaked afternoon, the Summit JV came out strong and defeated Livingston 7 to 2. The Summit attack started with a strong low defense led by Katie Starker, and Alex Cotter and Sarah Rojas who each had one assist. On offense, Jaime Goldfarb had a hat trick and one assist, Liz Mormak chipped in 2 goals, Silvia Lobo and Sal Baker each contributed one, and Tracy Sartorious had a nice assist from behind the cage. Celine Javanni had 3 saves in goal.
Mon 04/19 4PM Roxbury A Won 11-8 Emily Moore led the Summit scoring with 4 goals. Gina Scioscia added 3 goals and Heather Scudellari contributed 2 goals.  Roxbury is 3-3.Tie 4-4 Celine Javanni played a fine game in goal keeping Summit in the game by stopping two eight meter shots in the final few minutes of play. Jen Dang's aggressive play at wing resulted in 2 Summit goals. Claire Kelly and Sal Baker contributed one goal each.  
Wed 04/21 4PM Mendham H Won 10-9 Summit avenged an ealier loss to Mendham. Gina Scioscia scored with less than 5 minutes left to break a 9-9 tie. At one point Mendham held a 7-3 lead, but goals by Amy Santella and Alex Garvey cut the lead to 7-5 at halftime. Scioscia, Lauren Cooper and Garvey scored early in the 2nd half to take an 8-7 lead. Cooper sandwiched a fast break goal between two Mendham goals to tie the game at 9 each. Freshman substitute goalie Sara Bloom combined with Summit's stall to preserve the lead. Mendham is 5-2.Lost 5-4 The Summit Girls JV suffered their first loss today 5-4 against Mendham. Summit trailed 4 to 2 after the first half. The girls fought valiantly and came within one goal as time expired. Jaime Goldfarb led Summit with a hat trick, and Claire Kelly scored on a nice assist from Sal Baker.
Fri 04/23 4PM Morristown A Won 17-4 The Summit offense was pased by Gina Scioscia who score 4 goals.Won 13-9 The Summit Girls JV was a little slow getting started against Morristown but came on strong as the first half ended and during the second half to win 13 to 9. Ground balls were picked up well by the wings and low defense. The draws were well controlled by Sal Baker, Liz Mormak, and Jaime Goldfarb as well as the rest of the wings. Leading the Summit scoring were Becky Sandgrund with 4 goals, Jaime Goldfarb with 3, Sal Baker with 2, Liz Mormak with 2, and Jen Dang and Katie Starker with one each.  
Mon 04/26 4PM Chatham H Rain   
Wed 04/28 4PM West Essex H Lost 14-7 West Essex grabbed a 9-6 halftime lead and out scored Summit 5-1 in the 2nd half. Alex Garvey and Gina Scioscia led the Summit offense with 2 goals and an assist each. West Essex is 9-1Lost 7-4 Summit lost today to a fine team from West Essex. The Summit girls played well, and the game was tied 2-2 at half-time with both of Summit's goals coming from Liz Mormak. Summit let down their guard for a few moments as the 2nd half started and West Essex capitalized and scored several quick goals. The Summit defense and wings led by goalie Celine Javanni played very aggressively and fought back to control the ground balls and tempo of the game. Summit attackers, Sal Baker and Claire Kelly, scored in the 2nd half.  
Mon 05/03 4PM West Morris Central A Lost 12-10 Emily Moore scored to tie the game at 9-9, but West Morris out scored Summit 3-1 down the stretch. Gina Scioscia had a hat trick for Summit.Won 6-4 It was the finest performance this season for the girls. The low defense, spearheaded by Katie Starker, Becky Sandgrund, Alex Cotter and Bridget Mulcahy, did a great job of working together to keep WMC from scoring. Celine Javanni was outstanding in goal making 12 saves. Wings controlled the midfield and draws enabling Summit to dominate the time of possession. Sal Baker had a hat trick, and Tracy Sartorius, Jaime Goldfarb, and Claire Kelly each contributed one. Liz Mormak, Sal Baker, Becky Sandgrund,and Katie Starker had fine assists on 3 of those goals.
Wed 05/05 7PM Livingston A Won 8-4 The Summit offense was led by Lauren Cooper with 3 goals, Alex Garvey and Gina Scioscia with 2 goals.  Won12-6 T Summit led at half-time 6-3 but let Livingston back in the game early in the 2nd half as the Lancers came within one goal (6-5). The girls then took command of the game both defensively and offensively and went on to win by 6. Jaime Goldfarb led the Summit scoring with 4 goals and 1 assist, Sal Baker had 3 goals, Claire Kelly chipped in 2 goals and 1 assist, Tracy Sartorius had a goal and 2 assists, Jen Dang had one goal and one assist and Liz Mormak had one goal. Celine Javanni had 7 saves in goal.
Sat 05/08 Randolph H Won 15-7 Gina Scioscia led Summit's offense with 4 goals and a pair of assists
Mon 05/10 4PM Roxbury H Won 15-5 Emily Moore had a hat trick along with 4 assists. Gina Scioscia and Alex Garvey also scored 3 times. Roxbury is 2-9.Won10-5 Summit scoring was led by Jaime Goldfarb who had 5 goals. Claire Kelly and Sal Baker had 2 each and Tracy Sartorius chipped in one. Four of those goals were made with fine assists from Sarah Rojas, Fran Cooke, Kelly, and Sartorius. Once again the wings controlled the midfield. The low defense, led by Katie Starker, Bridget Mulcahy, Liz Weisbrot, Alex Cotter, and Rojas did a fine job stopping fast breaks. Celine Javanni played well in goal and had 6 saves.

Sat 05/15 11AM Morristown H Won 19-9 Alex garvey, Emily Moore and Gina Sciocscia each contributed 4 goals for Summit Morristown is 2-12. Summit is now 9-4 Won 13-1 The Summit women's JV finished their season with a convincing win over Morristown 13-1. Jaime Goldfarb had 7 goals and Sal Baker contributed another 4. Alex Cotter and Liz Mormak chipped in one each. Especially rewarding was the way the girls played as a team. Many of the goals were assisted: Clarie Kelly had 3 assists, Liz Mormak, Jen Dang and Sal Baker had one each. The low defense led by Becky Sandgrund, Katie Starker, Sarah Rojas,and Bridget Mulcahy denied Morristown many opportunities and Celine Javanni played well in goal with 4 saves. The wings did a fine job controlling the midfield once again. Great job girls! Thanks for a great season. 
Mon 05/17 4PM West Essex A Lost 15-6 West Essex (17-1) is ranked 3rd in the state.
05/18 4PM Kent Place A North B Tournament Lost 10-7 Kent Place was able to score almost a will early in the 1st half. They jumped to a 5-0 before Summit managed to get its game going. Gina Scioscia picked up Summits 1st goal and Alex Garvey made it 5-2 at the half. Although Summit outscored Kent Place 5-4 in the second half, they were never able to get closer than 3 goals. Sciocsia scored 4 goals and Garvey added 2 goals. Kent Place is 11-5
