Cranford and Summit battled back and forth for 32 minutes and needed overtime to settle things. Summit led 10-8 at the end of the 1st quarter as Danielle Scott scored 8 of her game high 12 points. Cranford battled back to gain an 18-17 advantage at the half. Allison Cahott scored 5 of Summt's 2nd quarter points. Summit took a 1 pint lead into the 4th quarter.
Unasnwered baskets by Scott, Cahott, and Grace Obando gave Summit a 33-26 lead with 3:21 left on the clock. But Summit couldn't hang on as Cranford scored the least 7 point of regualtion. Early in overtime Rachel Tabak scored a layup and was fouled. She sank the foul shot to give Summit a 3 point lead. Two free throws by by Julia Turner made it a 5 point lead. After a Cranford bucket Caitlin Lackaye added a free throw. Tabak added 2 more free throws and Cahott 1 to complete the scoring.
