Summit came out and matched Morris Hills shot for shot in the first quarter trailing only by 2 at the end of the first quarter. Morris Hills came out hot in the second hitting several threes which helped them to pull away. Summit fought back but lost the hot hand and began to succumb to the trapping 1-3-1 defense. They were unable to score in the second and never recovered.

JV Result

Lost 39- 35 Summit came out strong in the first quarter and finished down only 14-11, but was unable to keep that intensity through the second quarter. They entered the half down 29-11 without scoring a point in that period. Rejuvenated and ready to press, Summit rebounded strong in the third holding Morris Hills to only 3 points while posting 13 of their own. That intensity and the successful press continued in the fourth quarter when they were able to tie the score at 33. After tieing the game, Summit was unable to hit any of their shots other than 1 from the foul line while Morris Hills hit on 3 additional. Although losing the game, Summit showed great character and determination in being able to come back from a large deficit and shows lots of promise and potential for the season. Danielle Scott led all scorers with 19 while Renee Freeden and Meghan Osmulski contributed 6 apiece.
