Jake Huck was unlucky to have to pitch the top half of the 1st inning while significant rain was still falling. Huck struggled with his control of the wet ball and a very strong GL team teed off for 9 runs. The rain had stopped by the end of the half inning and Huck allowed only 1 hit over the next 3 innings before Matt Fields came on in relief .
Summit's first run came in the 4th inning. Tim Fields and Andrew Furman singled and Huck drove in Fields with a ground out. The 2nd run was in the 5th inning. Jeff Barry doubled and Stoney Gibbons singled him to 3rd. Jon Busciano's single scored Barry.
