Won 1-0 Summit avenged a earlier loss to Mendham as they scored the only goal of the game in the first 31 seconds. Summit's offense brought the ball down field off their kick off play. Mendham's keeper deflected a hard Summit shot which resulted in a Summit corner kick. Ally McGuire sent in a beautiful ball and Lexi Zalk hit it in for the score. Summit's keeper, Leah Garman had over 15 saves for her 6th shutout of the season. It was an outstanding team win. |
