Summit and Chatham met again for the first time since the late 60's. Summit grabbed the lead on its second possession. The Summit drive started on Summit's 26 yard line. Runs by Pearce Talbot and Will Gruetzmacher got the ball to Chatham's 46 yard line. On the next play Jacob Huck hit a wide open Daryl Toney with a 46 yard TD strike. Gruetzmacher kicked the extra point. After exchanging punts Summit got the ball back on their 23. Passes to Gruetzmacher (11 yards) and Todd Kaiser (11 yards) gave Summit a 1st down on Chatham's 46. On the next play Huck threw a lateral pass to Kaiser who hit Scott O'Sullivan with a 30 yard pass to the 16 yard line. Talbot ran to the 11 but 2 penalties moved it back to the Chatham 27. On 3rd down Huck passed to Kaiser for the 2nd TD of the game. Gruetzmacher added the extra point.

Summit's 2nd possession of the 2nd half started at mid-field. After a sack, Huck completed a 38 yard pass to John Stuckey for a 1st down on the Chatham 17. Talbot rushed to the 14 and Gruetzmacher picked up a first down at the 6 yard line. A Chatham penalty moved the ball to the 3. Greutzmacher then took a pitchout and looked like he was headed for the end zone. As he crossed the goal line the ball was knocked loose and it rolled out of bounds in the end zone. The officials ruled that Gruetzmacher hadn't crossed the goal before the fumble and Chatham took over on their on 20 yard line.

The missed touchdown seemed to shift the momentum and Chatham managed its only drive of the game. They moved all the way to Summit's 17 before Huck had his 2nd interception of the game at the goal line. That was the last time either team would threaten.

So far this season Huck has passed for 8 touchdowns. Travis Marchell had his 2nd interception of season.
