It is hard to remember a game in which Summit was so totally dominated. Summit's running game was completely shut down by Parsippany Hills. As a consequence, Summit was forced to pass an almost every down. Parsippany Hills, taking advantage of that knowledge, blitzed on almost every down. This forced Jacob Huck to rush every pass, directly resulting in 2 interceptions. Toward the end of 2nd quarter Huck was sacked on 3 consecutive plays. The final sack was in Summit's end zone, resulting in a safety that made the score 22-0 at the end of the half.

The 2nd half got off to a very bad start. Summit kicked off to begin the half and the kick was returned to the Summit 48. On the first play Parsippany Hills ran 48 yards for a touchdown. On Summit's next possession they fumbled and Parsippany Hills scooped it up and went 48 yards to score. After less than 3 minutes gone in the half the score was 36-0.

Summit's only bright spot came on their next possession. The drive began on the Summit 35 yard line, thanks to a 15 yard penalty against Parsippany Hills. A pass to John Stuckey moved the ball to the 45 yard line. A sensational catch by Scott O'Sullivan gave Summit a 1st down on the Parsippany Hills 17 yard line. On the next play Huck scampered 17 yards for Summit's only score.

It was good to see James Johnson back in uniform after missing three games.
