While the likely outcome of the game was settled early, Morris Hills put up better fight than the score might indicate. Summit had a comfortable 12 point lead at the half but a 19-8 spurt in the 3rd quarter really settled things. Wellington Smith led the charge in that quarter with 9 of his game high 19 points. Mike Dugan added a pair of 3-pointers in the quarter and James Johnson contributed two field goals, one of them a beautiful leaping rebound-put back.
Dugan wound up with 15 points for the night and Johnson had 14 points. Smith led the rebounding with 12.
