Summit came up against one of the top teams in the country and the outcome was pretty much as anticipated. St. Patricks' superior height and bench depth made an inside game very difficult so Summit was force to rely heavily on outside shooting. In fact, all but 10 of Summit's points came from 3-pointers. Summit played a tenacious defense and forced a number of St. Pat ricks turnovers but ultimately was able to connect on only 12 of 51 shots.
Wellington Smith led Summit's scoring with 16 points.
