Summit came out firing against Parsippany in the first half but Parsippany was able to stay in touch each time it looked like Summit was about to pull away. Late in the 1st half, Danielle Scott picked up her 4th foul but Summit was able to maintain a slim 1 point lead at the half.

Although Summit was outscored in the 3rd quarter by 4, the team did its job, keeping itself close while its leading scorer sat on the bench. Early in the 4th Scott came back in and Summit started to click offensively. Parsippany would not falter though and matched the offensive output from the Lady Hilltoppers, getting the lead to 6 with 3 minutes left in the game. Summit came roaring back though to get to within 2 points. They went to the line 2 times but failed to convert on any of the 3 opportunities.

The difference in the game was the 4th quarter performance from the line from both teams. Although Parsippany went 11/20 from the line in the game, it hit on 5 of 8 in the fourth quarter. Summit, on the other hand, went 0 for 5 in the fourth,

Summit fans were cheered by the return to action of Allison Cahott, who scored 8 points. Scott led the offense and defense with 12 points and 15 rebounds. This is Danielle's 7th double double of the season.
