Doubles: Rose(1) |
If you love baseball you would certainly love this game, even though we lost. Neither pitcher issued a single base on balls and between both teams there was only one error. It was a real pitcher's duel. Kevin Lackaye pitched another complete game. In the process he needed only 68 pitches. That's an average off approximately 11 pitches per inning. That few pitches requires both good pitching and good defense.
After 5 scoreless innings, Dan Weber drove in Summit's run and took a 1-0 lead in the top of the 6th. Unfortunately, Parsippany answered with 2 runs in the bottom of the inning.
