St. Mary proved to be a very weak team and put up almost no resistance in this preliminary game of the Union County Tournament. Summit moves on to play top seeded Roselle Catholic. The game is set for Saturday (5/6) afternoon. The time is not firm yet because of SATs that morning.
Kevin Lackaye pitched the first four innings, giving up one run on 3 hits. Jon Buscaino pitched the 5th and final inning. Summit piled on 18 runs in only 4 innings, and almost scored at will.
