After two scoreless innings West Essex erupted for 5 runs in the bottom of the 3rd. West Essex took advantage of 4 hits (including a 3 run home run), a walk and 1 Summit error. Summit bounced back in the top of the 4th with 3 runs. Sam Rose got the inning started with a single. Sam Zerfoss doubled to put runners at 2nd and 3rd. Bernie Grishman's double drove in two runs. Grishman moved to 3rd on a wild pitch and eventually scored on a error.
Unfortunately, the bottom dropped out for Summit in the bottom of the 4th inning. West Essex added 9 runs on 5 hits, 4 walks and an error.
