Won 4-0. Hilltopper coaches David Pease and Rob Grella surprised everyone by radically shuffling the starting lineup for Summit's opening game of the Union County Tournament. The changes paid immediate dividends. Mike Grouss, who moved from sweeper to forward, scored two goals and assisted on another by Marko Efstratiou. Another former defender, Andrew Zackoff, drilled in a goal off a feed from Marc Shehata. Justin MacPherson was solid as the new sweeper, and also assisted on one of Grouss' goals. On the offensive end, Mike Grouss was very effective in creating scoring opportunities but, unfortunately, Summit was unable to finish them.
