Summit needed a victory to qualify for the State Tournament and they did it with ease. If this had been a boxing match it would have been stopped after the 2nd round on a TKO. Summit's smothering defense held Dover to 4 field goals and 2 free throws in the 1st half. In the same 16 minutes Summit racked up 43 points. All five starters produced significant points in the half. James Johnson led the way as he scored all 17 of his game high points. Shabazz Green came off the bench to score 6 of his career high 8 points.
The 2nd half provided an opportunity for everyone on the bench to get significant playing time.
Chris Kehoe, with 11 points, joined Johnson in scoring in double digits. Travis Marchell was the top rebounder with seven.
