With scoring from all 5 starters Summit sped to a 37-18 lead at the half. A barrage of 5 3-pointers, 2 each by Travis Marchell and James Johnson and 1 by Chris Kehoe, helped to seemingly bury Hanover Park. Johnson had 14 points in the half and Marchell 10. However, Hanover Park refused to stay buried.
In the 3rd quarter Hanover Park's Reposi got red hot accumulated 13 points and led Hanover Park to reduce the lead to 11 and put a scare into the Summit fans. Summit stopped the rally and grew the lead back to 13 points.
Johnson scored 23 points and Kehoe and Marchell were both in double digits with 12 and 10 respectively, Tim Donnally had a big night with 9 points and 9 rebounds
