The Summit fans arrived expecting to see an easy victory since Summit had won the first game by 21 points. But Summit had an abysmal start to this game and Parsippany ran off to a 15-7 1st quarter lead. To make matters worse James Johnson also got into foul trouble with 3 quick fouls. Parsippany continued on a roll, gaining an 11 point lead mid-way through the 2nd quarter. At this point Summit began to get on track and closed the gap to 5 points at the half.
Summit was a completely different team. They turned up the pressure on defense and held Parsippany to only 7 point in the entire 2nd half. At the same time Chris Kehoe went on a 3-point binge, scoring on 4 of his 5 tries, on the way to his career high 19 points. Tim Donnally contributed 7 second half points to aid the runaway. Over the last 20 minutes of the game Summit outscored Parsippany 38 to 11.
In addition to Kehoe's 19 points, James Johnson scored 10 and Travis Marchell led the rebounding with 7.
Summit's final regular season game is with Mendham on Thursday.
