Rahway ended Summit's great late season run. Prior to this game Summit had won 11 of its final 14 games. Summit ended the season with a winning record of 14-11.

Rahway's two big men, 6-9 and 6-6, were just too much for Summit to handle. They scored 45 points between them and dominated under the back board, blocking shots and forcing player to drastically alter their shots.

Rahway ran off to a 16-2 lead and the handwriting was on the wall. Yet Summit bounced back to close the quarter 23-16. Unfortunately Rahway out scored Summit 21-6 in the 2nd quarter and the game was pretty much out of reach.

Even though the final score wasn't indicative, Summit battled furiously on defense throughout the entire game. They were simply out gunned. Taylor Simpson and James Johnson led Summit's scoring with 14 each.

Some final season notes: James Johnson finished the season with 425 points and 753 points for his Varsity career. Josh Sussman led Summit in rebounding with 155. Chris Kehoe had the most season points for any sophomore in the last 10 years with 272 ( more than Dwayne Reid or Wellington Smith)
