Sat 04/01 3:00PMMorristown H Won 9-1 Summit jumped on Morristown early building a 5-0 lead by the end of the first quarter on goals by Will Gruetzmacher, Jake Grabowski, Kevin Feeney and two by Rob Hillenbrand. In the second quarter summit expanded the lead to 6-0 on Will Gruetzmachers second goal of the contest. After the half Summit extended their lead with goals by Will Gruetzmacher his third of the game and Rob Hillenbrand also his third of the game. Morristown scored their lone goal of the contest and the quarter closed with Summit leading 8-1. The only goal of the fourth quarter was a tally by Conor Mckenna (his first career varsity goal). Andrew Bell (8 Saves) and Brian Wilson (7 Saves) backed Summits efforts in the net. (reporting by Sam Evans)Won 10-2
Mon 04/03 4:00PM St. Peters The Hilltoppers took command of the game early and never looked back. Conor Mckenna got summit on the board about 5 minutes in. Will Gruetzmacher, Kyle Mahoney (first career varsity goal) and Rob Hillenbrand rounded out the scoring as the first quarter ended summit up 4-0. Mckenna opened the scoring in the second quarter with his second of the game. Jake Grabowski, Scott Garibaldi, Will Gruetzmacher (his second of the game) , and Mike Grouss ( first career varsity goal) provided the rest of the offense for the second quarter. Summit went to the locker room with a 9-0 lead. The third quarter scoring opened with Will Gruetzmacher getting his third of the game, ( second consecutive 3 goal game). Third quarter scoring was rounded out by Scott Garibaldi, his second of the game for summit and St Peters Prep scoring their first goal of the game with 12 seconds left in the quarter. The fourth quarter started as rain began to fall heavily with Summit leading 11-1. St Peters opened the scoring in the fourth to cut the lead to 9 but BJ West would score (first career varsity goal) to extend summit lead back to 10. Followed quickly by another Summit tally his second of the game scored by freshmen Kyle Mahoney. St Peters Prep would close out the scoring with 3 more goals as coach Davidson continued to use his whole roster. Andrew Bell , Brian Wilson and Brian Smith back stopped summits efforts in the Cage.(reporting by Sam Evans) Won 10-1
Sat 04/08 11:OAMHanover Park HWon 14-4 Kevin Feeney led the Summit offense with 4 goals. Rob Hillendrand added 3 goals and Will gruetzmacher and Mike Grouse each scored twice. Andrew Bell had 8 saves in goal

Wed 04/12 4:OOPMA L Johnson HWon 8-4 Johnson scored the first 2 goals of the game.  Summit rallied to tie the score at 3-3. Summit took charge in the 2nd half. Kevin Feeney finished with 3 goals, Scott Garibaldi added 2 goals and Rob Hillenbrand had a goal and 2 assists.Won 11-1 
Sat 04/15 11:OOAMWest Essex HWon 6-5 Summit rallied from a 5-4 deficit in the 4th quarter, Kevin Feeney scored to tie the game with 7 minutes remaining and Conor McKenna scored the game winner off a feed from Mike Grouse with 2:27 left on the clock. Mckenna and Will Gruetzmacher each scored two goals and Scott Garibaldi scored once. Andrew Bell made 12 saves  West Essex entered the game with a 4-0 record. Won 9-4
Mon 04/17 4:OOPMWest Morris Central AWon 8-5 Summit broke open a 2-2 halftime tie by out scoring West Morris Central 6-3 in the 2nd half. Kevin Feeney and Rob Hillenbrand scored 2 goals to help Summit pull away. Jake Grabowski had 2 assists and a goal. Summit moved to 7-0 and Central dropped to 3-3Won 4-3 
Wed 04/19 4:OOPMMendham HWon 12-4 The Hilltoppers had another impressive all around performance today defeating Mendham and showing great poise controlling the ball for long possessions and taking advantage of available opportunities. Contributions continued to come from all over with seven players collecting points. Rob Hillenbrand led summit with 2 goals and 3 assists he was supported by Conor Mckenna 3 goals 1 assist, Jake Grabowski 2 goals 2 assists, Kevin Feeney 1 goal 3 assists, Casey Mcguire 1 goal 2 assists, Will Gruetzmacher 2 goals and Scott Garibaldi 1 goal. Andrew Bell and Brian Wilson anchored Summit in the cage.  (reporting by Sam Evans) Lost 4-3
Mon 04/24 4:OOPMLivingston AWon 13-3 Summit started slow with Conor Mckenna getting them on the board about 6 minutes into the first quarter off an assist from Casey Mcguire. Livingston answered before Scott Garibaldi scored off another assist from Mcguire and then Mckenna scored off an assist from Will Gruetzmacher to put Summit up 3-1 at the end of the quarter. Jake Garbowski opened the scoring off an assist from Mckenna. Gruetzmacher scored an unassisted tally followed by goals by Mckenna, assist Garibaldi, and Rob Hillenbrand, assist Garibaldi. Summit went to the half holding a 7-2 advantage. Hillenbrand opened the third quarter off another Mcguire assist Mckenna followed with an unassisted goal, his third of the game. Hillenbrand also scored his third of the game off a Gruetzmacher assist. Mike Grouss closed out the quarter for Summit off a Hillenbrand Assist. The fourth quarter started with Summit leading 11-1. Will Gruetzmacher expanded on the lead off a BJ West assist followed by Kyle Mahoney scoring off a Eamon Troy assist. Livingston finished strong adding 2 goals late. Summit's efforts were spearheaded by Mckenna, 4 goals 1 assist, and Hillenbrand, 3 goals 2 assists  (reporting by Sam Evans) 
Wed 04/26 4:OOPMDelbarton ALost 10-6 Summit lost its first game to top ranked, and unbeaten, Delbarton. Conor McKenna had a pair of goals. Scott Garibaldi scored once and had one assist Lost 6-1
Sat 04/29 11:OOAMRandolph HLost 8-4 Summit fell behind 5-3 in the 1st half and were outscored 3-1 in the 2nd half. Kevin Feeney led Summit's scoring with 2 goals. Will Gruetzmacher and Conor McKenna each score once. Won 5-1 
Tue 05/02 4:OOPMChatham HWon 7-6 (2 OT) Kevin Feeney scored off a feed from Rob Hillenbrand with only 40 seconds left in the 2nd overtime. Summit had seen a 6-4 lead evaporate in the last 6 minutes of regulation, forcing the game into overtime. Summit held a 5-3 lead at halftime. Feeney finished with 3 goals. Jake Grabowski, Will Gruetzmacher. Hillenbrand and Conor McKenna each scored once. Chatham (9-2) is ranked 12th by The Star LedgerLost 7-2

Won 7-6 (OT) Summit survived an upset scare by Columbia (3-8) when Kevin Feeney scored an unassisted goal in the 1st minute of overtime. Will Gruetzmacher scored 2 goals and had 1 assist. Conor Mckenna scored once and also had an assist.  Won 8-4 
Sat 05/06 3:OOPMRidgewood HWon 12-11 (OT) Summit led 7-2 at the half, but Ridgewood, 4th Ranked by the Star-Ledger, rallied to close the gap to 10-9. Ridgewood scored to tie the game at ten, Summit scored to go ahead 11-10. With less than a minute remaining Ridgewood tied the score 11-11. Summit won the overtime face off, but at about 2:30 remaining in the overtime Ridgewood's goalie blocked a Summit shot. Ridgewood now had the ball and started maneuvering around the Summit goal. With about fifty seconds remaining in the overtime period a Summit defenseman knocked the ball loose, scooped it up and passed it to the other end of the field. Summit shot, the goalie blocked the shot but didn't catch it, and Will Gruetzmacher flipped the ball into the goal for a 12-11 Summit win, with only 15 seconds remaining. Gruetzmacher finished with 3 goals and an assist. Kevin Feeney contributd 2 goals and 2 assists. Rob Hillenbrand and Conor McKenna both scored twice. Jake Grabowski and Scott Garibaldi rounded out the scoring with a goal apiece.

Wed 05/10 4:00PMSeton Hall HLost 9-8 Scott Garibaldi Tied the game at 8-8 with only 12 seconds remaining and appeared to send the game into OT for the 4th straight game. Summit's hopes were dashed as Seton Hall took the faceoff and scored with 2 seconds left.

Garibaldi and Kevin Feeney each scored three time for Summit

Mon 05/22 Westfield H UCT Finals Lost 10-9 Westfield started strong in the 1st half and built an 8-4 lead by the end of the half. Kevin Feeney, who netted four goals, Rob Hillenbrand and Kyle Mahoney all scored in the third quarter as Summit closed to within 9-7. Hillenbrand made it 9-8 while Summit was in man-down with 6:25 to go. Westfield came back with a wrap around shot with 5:16 left for a 10-8 Westfield lead. It was Westfield's first goal in more than 10 minutes. Feeney pulled Summit to within 10-9 with an extra-man goal with 1:15 remaining and then won the ensuing faceoff. Summit managed one errant shot before Westfield scrambled to gather a loose ball with 30 seconds left. Westfield cleared successfully and held possession until a forced turnover by Summit with four seconds left. Summit was unable to unleash a shot.

Summit had won the first three Union County Tournaments.

Wed 05/24 Jefferson NJSIAA Group 1 Won 11-4 Summit ran to a 5-0 lead behind 3 first half goals by Jake Grabowski. Jefferson rallied a bit in the 3rd quarter to make it an 8-4 game. Summit finished strong to score the last 3 goals. Mike Grouss and Will Gruetzmacher were outstanding, winning 17 of 20 faceoffs. Conor Mckenna and Kevin Feeney each scored twice. Scott Garibaldi, BJ West, Adolpha Arrieta and Gruetzmacher each scored once.
Sat 05/27 Caldwell NJSIAA Group 1 Quarter Finals Won 13-6 Summit took a 7-1 lead into the 2nd half and came home an easy winner. Jake Garbowski had 2 goals and 2 assists for Summit. Kevin Feeney, Will Gruetzmacher and Rob Hillenbrand each picked up 2 goals. Mike Grouss and Conor McKenna both scored in Summit 5-1 2nd quarter.
Tue 05/30 Madison NJSIAA Group 1 Semifinals Won 10-6 Summit out scored Madison in each of the first 3 quaiters and carried a 7-3 lead into the final 12 minutes. Andrew Bell had a terrific game in goal as he made 14 saves, including a number of point blank shots by Madison. Kevin Feeney and Will Gruetzmacher led the Summit offense. Each had 3 goals and an assist. Conor McKenna scored twice and Rob Hillenbrand and Scott Garibaldi each scored once.

Summit will meet Mountain Lakes on Friday @ Livingston H.S., at 5PM

Fri 06/02 5PM Mountain Lakes NJSIAA Group 1 Finals @Livingston Lost 10-9 (OT) It was a sad loss, but a throughly exciting game. Mike Grouss got Summit started with an early goal, but Mountain Lakes quickly answered to knot the score. On the face off Will Gruetzmacher popped the ball up, grabbed it and raced unassisted to score and put Summit back on top. Scott Garibaldi scored the first of his 3 goals. Kevin Feeney added a goal to put Summit ahead 4-1 as the quarter ended. Midway through a hard fought 2nd quarter Mountain Lakes scored. Again, Gruetzmacher took the face off and scored an unassisted goal. The half ended with Summit on top 5-2.

Mountain Lakes reved up their very aggressive defense in the 2nd half. They out scored Summit 6-2 to take an 8-7 lead. Goals by Gruetzmacher and Feeney, via a nice assist from Gruetzmacher, kept the game close. Mountain Lakes drew first blood in the in the 4th quarter and things began to look bleak. With the clock under 4 minutes Garibaldi took a pass from Rob Hillenbrand and scored to get Summit back within one goal. Then with only 5.7 seconds left Garibaldi scored to tie the game and send it to overtime. With 48 seconds left in overtime Mountain Lakes scored to win.
