Hanover Park reveived the opening kick off. The tone of the game was set on the first play from scrimmage when the Hanover Park's fullback raced through a hole and out ran the Summit secondary for a 76 yard touchdown. The game went downhill from there as Hanover Park scored the most 1st half points in the history of Summit football. Summit's only score came after Hanover Park's second TD. David Roduit made great catch, in traffic, of an Edgar Ozals pass and raced 46 yards for the touchdown. Sadly, that was the last time that Summit had something to cheer about.
