The final game of the season got off on the wrong foot when Summit turned the ball over on the first play from scrimmage. Madison recoverd the fumble on Summit's 20 yard line. Three running play later Madison scored. Summit was forced to punt on their 2nd possession and Madison got the ball on their 23. Five running plays and a key pass led to another quick TD. Madison failed to convert on either of these TDs so Summit was down 12-0. After Madison lost the ball on a fumble and Summit was forced to punt, Madison started again from their 38 yard line. Seven plays later the score was 20-0 in Madison's favor.

Summit managed its only score on their final possession of the 1st half. The Summit defense forced Madison to turn the ball over on downs at the Summit 37. Joe Rea caught an Edgar Ozals pass for 7 yards and Michael Vitale gave Summit a 1st down at the Summit 49. Ozols scampered 10 yards to give Summit another 1st down. A key pass to David Roduit moved the ball to the Madison 20 yard line. Sam Rose hauled in another Ozols pass to make it 1st and goal from the Madison 9. A procedure penalty moved the ball back to the 14. Matt Defonzo covered the final 14 yards on three straight rushes to get Summit somewhat back in the game.

Unfortunately, Madison took the 2nd half kickoff on their 10 yard line and returned it 90 yards to put the game out of reach..
