Samantha Lee finished 7th overall in a school record time of 2:14.22 breaking her own record set last year. The senior competed in her 10th Meet of Champions (8 winter and spring and 2 from cross country) and her time ranks fifth best in Union County
history.
Susan Scavone placed 11th overall in the 100 hurdles and improved her school record time by running 15.03.
Kayla McDonald ran 2:20 in the 800M ;
Nikki Hallenborg ran 11:53 in the 3200M;
Stephen Hankinson's time was 4:28 in the 1600M.
This group of five athletes represented the largest contingent to represent Summit in program history at the Meet of Champions.

The season wraps up next weekend when the girls sprint medley (Lee, Scavone, McDonald, and Shannon Murphy) will compete at the Nike Outdoor National Championship meet in North Carolina. |
